Limited License Agreement
This limited license
agreement pertains to electronic images of needlepoint canvas designs
which are wholly owned and copyrighted by Leigh Designs. These images
are provided to the recipient ("Licensee") only under the terms of this
agreement, which are stated below. By downloading, printing or otherwise
using any of these images, Licensee agrees to be bound by and adhere to
all of the following terms and conditions:
- Leigh Designs
owns the copyrights to all of the images which accompany this agreement,
and all of the rights and privileges which pertain thereto. This agreement
does not transfer or confer upon Licensee any of these rights and privileges,
except as explicitly set forth below.
- Licensee may display
the accompanying images on a computer located within their place of
business and on their internet site. Licensee may also print a copy
of each image on paper, to be displayed in their place of business,
for the sole purpose of soliciting sales from prospective customers.
None of the images may be otherwise transferred to any third party for
any purpose whatsoever.
- Each image must
always be displayed and printed with the notation, "© Leigh Designs".
This notation is included as part of each electronic image.
- The Leigh Designs
product code, description and border, which are also included as part
of each image, may be removed or replaced with the Licensee's own product
code and description, if Licensee so desires.
- Images may be
proportionately resized for purposes of displaying or printing. Other
image modifications must first be approved in writing by Leigh Designs.
- Licensee is expressly
prohibited from otherwise expanding, altering, reproducing or using
any Leigh Designs image for purposes of copying the design onto needlework
canvas, artist's canvas, fabric, paper, or any other artistic medium.
Needlework canvas includes, but is not limited to, any canvas used for
needlepoint, pettipoint, rugs or cross-stitch.
- Licensee understands
that violation of any of the preceding terms and conditions constitutes
an infringement of Leigh Designs' rights and privileges under applicable
copyright laws, and that such violations shall be prosecuted to the
maximum extent allowable under said laws.
